Reconnecting With Nature, A Resource For Guidance To Our Questions

I have lived a life close to nature since we made the choice to live in the country as a family 12 years ago.  Even though I was immersed in this environment only this year, (2016), have I reawakened to the wisdom of natural elements.  I discover that by reconnecting with nature I receive guidance for my pressing questions.

What is Your Question?

As you know this year I have called groups to gather in Dalyan for ‘Meaningful Lives and Relationships’.  These gatherings are so connecting that we feel like members of a single tribe.  During one of our Dalyan workshops a wise women discovered in one of her communions with natural elements that there were no problems but just questions.

Last week I was in Fethiye, in Filiz Telek’s Re-wilding circle.  There I consulted nature about my deepest prayer.  I was surprised to find that a group of trees revealed to me that my deepest prayer was ‘For my daughter to grow up with the resources of a supportive community so that she could be authentic throughout her life.’  This realisation moves me even now.

Today, she is part of such a community. Far away in England she attends The Small School in Hartland, Devon, which is run by a tribe of like-minded people. Even at such a physical distance we remain close, and enjoy daily contact via Skype.

Commune With Nature As A Resource For Guidance

You can commune with nature by yourself, all you need to do is to let go of unnecessary learning and appreciate the nature as a resource for guidance.  Go to a natural spot you feel at ease, a place where you feel an increased wellbeing.  Look, listen, taste and feel each and every element around you; stones, leaves, water, plants, rocks and anything that captures your attention.  Ask the spirits of these elements to reveal what you need to know right now.

Invitation

I am inviting you to listen in your heart if my calling for ‘Meaningful Life and Relationships’ resonate with you.  The next one is in English, again in Dalyan.  The following one may be in Asos this summer.  If it does resonate with you, write to me, because each gathering is organised around the first person who says ‘I feel the calling.’
