How to Manifest Heaven On Earth

Even though I attract some who are really tormented, my vision for clients is ambitious.  I aim to give people tools to manifest heaven on earth and use the difficulties they experience as leverages to richer possibilities. Here is one of my discoveries.

The Wounds Pass From One Generation To Another Until They Are Healed

We all come with our own wounds to relationships.  The way these wounds find expression in the relationship can take different forms such as lack of energy, anxiety about the other’s driving, perceiving simple wishes as attempts to boss, being over critical, difficulties in experiencing and showing appreciation, feeling offended, inability to empathise, staying out socialising with friends without telling the other, getting angry and sometimes – even violent.

The way we react to each other’s wounds is what determines the main characteristics of a particular family.  For example, I know of a family where the father attempts to protect his family from his anger and uncontrolled drinking by not being available and the mother manages him and their kids by telling different stories to different people.

Are you able to accept each other completely and so focus on adapting to each other’s wounds?

Yesterday someone asked me what happens when there is perceived imbalance and lack of acknowledgement and appreciation for one’s efforts.  The question brought to my attention something I have observed in many couples. There is an expectation of a satisfactory return on our emotional investment.  Sometimes this never comes in the way, or in the time limit, we expect.

Can We Really Heal Each Other’s Wounds And Create Haven On Earth?

The formula I came up is original, and not the one everybody will want to take up.   It is beyond any cycle of adaptation and expectation.

Even if you are inconvenienced or disadvantaged by the wounds of your family member, the secret of creating heaven on earth involves total non-judgemental acceptance of the other. Loving unconditionally and focusing completely on your circle of influence is the key.

The formula looks like this:

Acceptance + Love + Focus on circle of influence = Opens the gates of Heaven on earth

When we were bringing our daughter up in the country I often felt that this stage of my life, with all its rewards and challenges was like a retreat for my personal and spiritual evolution.  The resilience, the energy, the fulfilment that came from this perception was so natural, abundant and powerful that I literally experienced heaven on earth.

Today is more challenging. My practice has grown so I have less time to spend with my daughter, who now spends part of the year being educated abroad. But life continues to provide compensations. My husband, Stephen, is more involved in my practice as well as building one of his own. I have met wonderful teachers, such as Filiz Telek and Francis Weller during the times my daughter is away. Indeed, life continues to unfold mysteriously like a heavenly symphony because I have learned to accept what comes with loving appreciation.
